![]() The title bout kicked off the WWE's Raw-exclusive Roadblock: End of the Line pay-per-view card inside PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania - and ultimately ended The New Day's nearly two-year dominance on the division, which included a pair of title reigns. The team of Cesaro and Sheamus twice overcame interference from The New Day's third member, Xavier Woods, to kick out of near-falls and survive - and then they unleashed a bit of trickery of their own to earn the victory. We were treated to a satisfying story of Sheamus and Cesaro finally overcoming the odds in a match full of convincing near falls in front of a crowd who was eating it up - and rightfully so. Summary: This exhilarating opener flowed at a rapid pace with both teams putting forth a hell of a performance. The New Day's record-breaking tag team championship reign of 483 days is no more. This was my last trip for 2016 and I must say that I enjoyed myself at both WWE shows.Roadblock: End of the Line is the final WWE pay-per-view of 2016, and history was made in the first match. There were drivers in Columbus and extra buses and I arrived to Pittsburgh around 4:15 pm. My bus was originally cancelled due to bad weather the night before but luckily I live in a big city. ![]() Transportation was a straight forward expenditure and I didn't have too many issues heading to Pittsburgh. I thought it was cool that they serve their food on a sheet of wax paper. in the Strip District of Pittsburgh and got a Pitts-Burger with a side order of cheese fries. It was also convenient because TGI Friday's was attached to the PPG Paints Arena. And I was relatively in the same spot both nights.įor food, I went to TGI Friday's before Roadblock and watched the Patriots - Broncos game and got a Jack Daniels burger with fries. I still can't believe I got a Pay-Per-View ticket at a cheaper price than a Monday Night Raw ticket. I sat in Section 110 at PPG Paints Arena. The face value for my seat was $80 but I purchased my seat for $40 plus $16.75 in fees for a total cost of $56.75. Also, PPG Paints Arena had a 2 for 1 deal for tickets because they were trying to fill the arena. The ticket for Roadblock: End of the Line was purchased through the Ticketmaster app and I was able to select my seat through the interactive seating chart. I always try to avoid Ticketmaster's fees whenever possible and picking up tickets directly from the venue is one way to avoid the fees. The ticket for Monday Night Raw was face value and I bought the ticket at the box office at The Schottenstein Center. Entertainment was my biggest expenditure on this adventure because I love wrestling. Roosters at The Schottenstein Center: $11.50Ĭotton Candy at The Schottenstein Center: $4.00 Greyhound, Columbus to Pittsburgh Round Trip: $68.75ĭonatos at The Schottenstein Center: $11.50 As usual, the cost will be broken down into five segments: Transportation, Lodging, Entertainment, Food, and Miscellaneous. I went to WWE Roadblock: End of the Line in Pittsburgh and WWE Monday Night Raw in Columbus on back-to-back days. In this week's edition of "How Much Did It Cost?", I will breakdown the cost of my WWE adventure from December 2016. ![]() This is a post I made in 2016 that I never posted………until now.
